First Watch
Do you love a restaurant that offers both breakfast, lunch, and dinner meal options? Well, your family would love this place! First Watch has many great locations in Atlanta and surrounding areas! This restaurant is one of my personal favorites because of the incredible variety of food – from pancakes to tacos! First Watch has an extremely warm and welcoming staff and their bright environment will make dining a joy. Having conversations with your family around the table will be a delight in itself but 10x when dining with First watch! You will see many family’s enjoying meals together, laughing, and having a good time. If this sounds like you, then, when you dine at this restaurant, you will be in great company!
This restaurant makes you feel like very light-hearted. Everyone is bound to be in good spirits because of their combination of delicious food and a relaxing atmosphere! You will truly leave the restaurant feeling refreshed and energized. You should definitely consider trying out a First Watch location near you!
Burger Fi
Bruger Fi is not only one of the most incredibly kid-friendly restaurants in Atlanta, but also extremely delicious. There’s surely something on the menu for everyone! They offer fantastic selection of grilled burgers and fries, as well as tasty salad bowls! This place is perfect for children who love them a good cheeseburger and chicken tenders. Their “bar & grill” type of atmosphere makes for a fun and exciting time dining with your family! You can sit outdoors and enjoy a cool breeze, and simply enjoy great food with great people! There are currently 9 Burger Fi locations in throughout Atlanta and it’s surrounding areas. Many of them are located in downtown shopping areas!
This best phrase I can use to describe Burger Fi is ” It’s time for downtown exploring!” Burger Fi locations are perfectly surrounded with boutiques, shopping stores, family activities, and places to go sight-seeing! When you are hanging out downtown, I highly recommend stopping at Burger Fi for family dinner or Lunch!
Pisanos Pizzeria
Pisanos, located in Cobb County Atlanta, Ga, is an amazing New York style, Italian pizza restaurant that is perfect for any pizza-loving family! Their atmosphere is always warm and welcoming, giving you peaceful vibes. Pisano’s was founded in 2012 and has always exemplified superior service and a wonderful dining experience for their customers. They want you to feel at home and excited to fellowship with your friends and family!
Their menu features many different kinds of delicious pasta bowls, a selection of salads, and pizza with all kinds of toppings! ThE vARISTY
The Varsity is a nostalgic restaurant located in Midtown Atlanta. Founded in 1928, The Varsity was established by Frank Gordy, with the mission to provide a wonderful dining experience for college students who attended a university nearby! Quickly, the restaurant attracted large crowds of people because of its unique design structure and amazing tasting food! This is a great restaurant to visit with your family when you are enjoying the day downtown. While the original franchise is located in Atlanta, over the years, The Varsity has expanded to reach different corners of Georgia! Obviously, the restaurant is a popular location for watching football games! It has been known to host over 30,000 people during football season!
The food menu resembles that of a cookout style restaurant! Hotdogs, Burgers, Fries, Chicken tenders etc. are the popular items on their menu. Delicious deserts such as apple pie and milkshakes, also attract customers. Everything is made with secret ingredients that make you want to come back for more! Not only is the food incredible, be the atmosphere takes you back to nostalgic days of history. You will enjoy showing your children a little bit of what the ‘good ole day’s’ were like! The Varsity surely accomplishes those feeling of deep nostalgia and makes you feel like you are traveling back in time! City Barbeque
If you love a good barbeque style meal, City Barbeque is one of the most amazing kid-friendly restaurants in Atlanta, Ga, and is a must stop for you! There are 7 locations through-out counties in Atlanta. Their atmosphere will drive you to gather all your friends and family for dinner. If you enjoy thanksgiving style dinners, then City Barbeque is a perfect place to host your family! Their selection of soul food to cookout style meals, create meany option for each member of your family!

Kani House in Atlanta, Ga, is a family-owned business that was established in 1999. The mission of Kani house has aways been to introduce the Japanese culture and dining experience, to Metro Atlanta. Not only is their food incredible, but they provide an amazing experience through their entertainment. Dining has never been more exciting. At Kani House, your family has the option to dine in, hibachi style. Whether you have a large group or a smaller group, everyone can sit around the table and watch the chef cook the food right in front of you! Their menu is packed with mouthwatering meals that everyone will enjoy! The chef will perform tricks while cooking, putting on show for the whole family. Their large family style tables seat 20+ people.

If you enjoy getting to know others, hibachi style dining is an excellent choice! I personally have made some friends by dining at Kani House. Kani House is a perfect blend of Japanese food with everyday American food! They have special recipes that combine shrimp, steak, rice, sushi and more, to bring together the Japanese and American culture. You aren’t just eating delicious food at Kani House, you are having an experience you will never forget. Additionally, you are creating memories with your family around the table while also meeting other families! With five locations throughout metro Atlanta, you have an opportunity to experience The Varsity wherever you are in Georgia!

There are so many exciting things that I could share about The Sugar Factory in Atlanta, Ga! Where do I even begin? This is one of the most popular hotspots in Atlanta. Some of your favorite celebrities dine here on a regular! Kid-friendly is a complete understatement of how inviting their environment truly is! Their dining tables look extremely elegant with a modern and child-like touch, while their walls, menu, and ceilings all offer exciting things to enjoy! When you go to the Sugar Factory in the daytime, you are experiencing the joy of colors and Daylight happiness! Even on a rainy day, you would never know it at the Sugar Factory! Their gummy bear chandelier, the celebrity wall, the flower photo wall, and a personal photographer roaming place, capturing the memory for you, is all a huge highlight for guests! The whole dining experience is simply a blast. When you dine in the evening, you will experience the elegance of the night. Whether date night with your significant other or a fancy dinner with your family, this is truly one of the most vibrant and inviting restaurants out there.

I know we have all heard of Dave & Busters, but what could be more kid-friendly than a restaurant with a huge arcade?! Dave& Busters has many locations throughout Atlanta, GA. I recently dined here with some friends it was so much fun! Usually when we think of Dave & Busters, we are thinking about the arcade fun first. But, we can just add the dining experience and it’s like the cherry on top! Their menu has many great options for every person in your family to enjoy. From salads and wings to burgers and mozzarella sticks, Dave & Buster’s caters to everyone! So, the next time you are wanting to do something fun with your family but also go out for dinner, consider Dave & Busters and have a fun dining and arcade experience all in one!
Big Pie in the Sky
Big Pie in The Sky is an amazing pizza restaurant in metro Atlanta! Located in Kennesaw, GA, Big Pie in the Sky offers New York style Italian pizza. Not only are their pizzas delicious with mouthwatering taste, but their slices are huge! As soon as you walk in the door, the smell of the pizza does something in your brain and makes you happy :). Or at least, it makes me extremely happy! Big Pie in the Sky is 100% a kid-friendly restaurant in Atlanta because well… there’s pizza! The truth is that every pizza restaurant is kid-friendly! But Big Pie In the sky offers something truly special with their dining experience. I highly recommend Big Pie In the Sky for your next pizza stop! Especially if you are in the Cobb County area! New York style pizza restaurants give you those warm and cozy feels and make dining a pleasure!
Main Event
Main event located in Cumberland Atlanta, Ga, is not just a bowling and arcade destination! They serve incredible tasting food on top of all the fun. Here, you will enjoy a superior experience with warm and welcoming staff members who make you feel extra comfortable during your visit! They have so much for kids to enjoy as well as the parents. Parents can enjoy playing pool, watching the game, bowling, and more! Children will enjoy playing laser tag, ropes courses, escape rooms, mini golf, arcade games and everything in between! It will be really hard to pick a meal off of their menu because everything tastes amazing! Don’t forget desert! Main Event has a desert shop inside of their building where you can go into their ice cream shop and choose your favorites! The place is pretty big and perfect for those little ones who needs to burn off some energy and for birthday parties!
Le Petit Chef
Le Petit Chef is a newly established restaurant that will be launching in Buckhead Atlanta Ga, on February 6th, 2025! This incredible restaurant is more than just a 5 course meal experience. It is an immersive and interactive experience! This incredible kid friendly restaurant in Atlanta, uses technology to project a wonderful show for you on the very table you are dining at! Your dinner plate will light up with different projections of a tiny chef who is giving you a story as you are eating! The dining experience will be an adventure where you will travel to an animated reality of Le Petit Chef! As a bonus, Le Petit Chef has over 84 locations around the world! So, it is likely that even when you are passing through another state of country, there will be a Le Petit Chef to dine at on your traveling adventures!
Dining with your Family
There are so many great restaurants around Metro Atlanta, that will give your family the perfect memory. These are just some of my favorites! You can surely have such a great time by dining your family. For me, this activity is at the top of the list! Maybe sometimes, instead of cooking a meal at home, you want to get everyone out the house and into another environment! Maybe you want to just have a day full of adventure. Positive family dining experiences are available everywhere! If you love making beautiful memories with your family, I highly recommend checking out the restaurants in this blog! Hey! You can make of all of the ones you want to try and cross them off as you go! But don’t cross them off for good! You are likely to want to go back to each restaurant a few times per year!
